has had paintings selected for inclusion in national juried exhibitions and solo exhibitions, and her work has been acknowledged for excellence by such curators and museum professionals as Peter Schjeldahl (Art Critic, New Yorker) and Cole Hendrix (curator at Asheville Art Museum). She has been an artist in residence at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, in Amherst, Virginia. Her paintings are held by major public collections including the Emily Couric Cancer Center (Charlottesville, VA) and the Capital One Corporation (Richmond, VA). She has been a finalist in The Artist’s Magazine International Competition for the past three years and will be included in the 2013 Society of Animal Artist exhibition at The Bennington, in Bennington, Vermont.
